OCR Training (7:00am; offsite):
We will meet at Sportsman’s Warehouse (east parking lot by the canyon rim trail entrance) at 7:00am to go over training. Please arrive early to warmup so we can begin the training discussion right at 7:00am.
The below picture is a rough outline of where we will be running (I will attach this image on FB-Spartan Spuds page for a better view of it). There are three different lengths in the run tomorrow. Sprint (about 4 miles), Super (about 8 miles) and Beast (about 12 miles). If you are doing the Sprint, you simply just run the red outline trail. If you are doing the Super, you will run the red and then the blue outlined trails. If you are doing the Beast, you will run the red, then the blue and green outlined trails. There will be obstacles/exercises at each main point (Sportsman’s, Centennial Park, Evil Knieval’s Jump Site and Shoshone Falls Park). You must decide which distance you are doing before we start. Treat this as a race…know your distance, finish the course.
