Getting started is simple at The Pack CrossFit!
The first step is to call or email us to set up your free, introductory session. This allows you the opportunity to meet us, and find out firsthand what we do and who we are. If you decide that The Pack CrossFit is for you, then your next step is to enroll in our Month long On-Ramp introductory course.
By offering personalized and scalable training during the intro course, we ensure everyone can participate at their fitness level, minimize distractions and can pay maximum attention to your individual needs. In the On-Ramp Course, you will learn how to perform the fundamental CrossFit Movements safely and effectively, ensuring a seamless transition into the Group Workouts after completing your On-Ramp Course.
*On Ramp is a required month long class for those who are new to CrossFit. It starts at the beginning of every month. It is held 2 days a week for 4 weeks. The times for the On Ramp classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm. If you cannot come at those designated times, we can set up different times for an additional fee. The on ramp is non refundable.
The On Ramp program covers the 9 foundational movements which form the basis of the CrossFit programming. (Those with previous CrossFit experience or other similar training backgrounds are eligible to reduce the course or test out entirely. There is no fee for the test out.)
Each session will include a warm up, skill review and new skill teaching, a workout, stretch and cool down and some conversation about nutrition, performance, or a CF related topic. Please remember that while CrossFit can seem overwhelming everything is scalable to your individual abilities. There is no minimum fitness level required to begin.
The emphasis will always be on skill development before intensity.
Our On Ramp course is designed to teach you the mechanics of the movements before entering a class to ensure your safety and to allow our coaches some time to address any flexibility, fitness level, or injury concerns you may have. In addition, On Ramp classes help acclimate you to the gym, staff and CrossFit as a whole to make sure you have the most fun and get the best results possible!
